The next couple of Tuesday nights will start to be a season of aching jaws. Nah, I have done my wisdom teeth ions ago. What gives then? The guys at Comedy Masala will be celebration their 100th show as well as their 2 year anniversary show. So anything from #98 to #104 will have big guns of the stand up comedy scene including Paul Ogata from the US, Vivek from Hong Kong (yes an Indian Hong Kee). What better way to start #98 than having The Comedy Club’s Jon Atherton too?
If Comedy Masala is not enough, there are also 2 great acts coming along as well. First we have our very own Sons of Singapore featuring Fakka Fuzz, Rishi Budhrani and Jinx Yeo with their very own show on the 25th August 2012 at TAB (FMI: http://www.gatecrash.com.sg/?page=event_detail&actionForm=detail&eventID=965)
Then there is the Malaysia invasion of the GoodFlers courtesy of Causeway Exchange (http://www.causewayexchange.com) with Rizal Geyzel, Jason Leong & Kavin Jay at the Art House from 23rd to 25th Aug 2012. I will be the official photographer for the whole event!
For me the celebration has already started! Last night we had Malaysia Stand Up Prince Kuah Jenhan coming on stage. His time on the stage was marked with hilarious laughter from beginning to end. I have thoroughly enjoyed his gig. Looking forward to his return soon!
Looks like it will be a very tight August schedule, with the arts performances coming, workshops, Singapore Karting Championship and Singapore’s very own Teng Ensemble Showcase (https://www.facebook.com/events/423942460991451/).
