Doing Some Shoot – WithLocals + Jarred Fells

Just over Tuesday some of my fellow photo group members went to do a simple shoot for some ‘advertisement’ shots of my photography street shoot program in WithLocals + shooting a comedy session with Jarred Fell.

We started with some shooting of local Singapore scene in Chinatown to take in the tourist belt and then taking some shots of our local elderly gentlemen playing chess (it is a highly lucrative past time I can assure you that).

Since part of the program do showcase how we locals live, what better way than to shoot Rochor Centre’s colourful HDB blocks in the middle of town? That’s what we did and we ended with another touristy shot of Singapore CBD night skyline next to The Arts House/Timbre just before our coverage of Jarred Fell’s first ever show in Singapore.

Jarred Fell is not your typical stand up comedian. He puts together his wicked sense of humour (sometimes low brow) and mix and match with his magic tricks thanks to his heritage coming from a family of magicians. The show is unique and highly recommended for an alternative take of stand up comedy.

If you are interested to catch him, you still can do it at Pan Pacific Hotel’s Royal Room tonight at 8pm. Tickets will be sold at the entrance.
