Photo Exhibition Project: The Culture That Binds Nations – The Peranakans

I am in partnership with the Causeway EXchange or CEX 2013 to shoot pictures of the Peranakan Culture or the Straits Chinese at three places- Singapore, Malacca and Penang to be exhibited in Malaysia.

The shoot is open to photography clubs I am helping out in, The Photographers’ Guild@The Arts House, Singapore Photography Interest Network and Singapore Digital Photographers Meetup Group.

The Peranakan Project for CEX 2013 will officially start on the 16th March 2013. Please do support by clicking attending at the individual shooting dates.  More information will be forthcoming for shoots in Melaka and Penang. If you are interested, please drop me an email at wilswong@wilzworkz.com

Causeway EXchange (CEX) 2013

Causeway Exchange is an arts program where artists from both side of the causeway present a series of Arts performances and programs to the general public of both countries. Last year’s Causeway Exchange in Singapore has garnered publicity even with a television coverage of its opening. The number of people attending the events under CEX numbers in the thousands.
