WilzWorkz Training: Padfone Infinity

Over the weekend I was invited by ASUS Singapore to conduct the very first mobile phone training for the latest Smartphone, the Padfone Infinity.

On top of some hardware and aesthetic updates. The Padfone Infinity has been upgraded with the newer processing algorithm for its camera called the Pixel Master that allows the use of photosite over sampling to increase sensitivity and shoot extreme low night shots.

The default camera app was also redesigned to incorporate a much better user interface that includes Auto, HDR, Panorama, Beautification, Night, Hi-Light, Smart Remove, All Smiles and GIF Animation. The full review will be shared at a later time.

The class started off pretty well, covering the essential bits that will enable the user to fully utilise the new camera app on the new Padfone Infinity. There was also some photography tips for them to use when taking pictures.

We then proceed with some exercise by shooting indoors to simulate night scenes over at Bugis+ and Bugis Junction which is where most users have problems overcoming.  I provided the tips and also usage of certain modes to enhance the light capturing ability of camera and derive a much better image for their use.

On the whole, it was a fantastic time with the participants with good sharing, questions and I hope they too learnt something along the way. Good luck to them winning a new Padfone Infinity set with the photos taken during the workshop!

Many thanks to ASUS Singapore and Veronica Yu in particular for providing me the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills to their customers.
